How to lower screen contrast on Android
Sometimes when I’m winding down in a dark room, my phone screen feels incredibly harsh on my eyes. Even at minimum brightness, the white text and bright elements still have this intense, piercing glow. I realized what I actually needed was a way to dial back the contrast, not just the brightness. Since phone manufacturers don’t typically offer a built-in contrast slider, I had to look elsewhere. Luckily, I came across an app called Screen Color Filter, which lets you adjust the contrast manually and makes late-night scrolling infinitely more comfortable.
